Spot Design Market Summer Edit

A couple months ago I was approached about photographing an upcoming design market, I thought it sounded super exciting and I was more than happy to get on board. Anna Hepburn (@annahepburnjewellery @annahepburnstudio) and Sarah Henderson (@squidinkco) are the organizers of Spot Design Market and worked super hard to make it come to life.

Spot Design Market is Glasgow's inaugural Design Market. Carefully curated with an exceptionally high level of makers including; ceramics, textiles, clothing, jewellery, homewares, plants and flowers. Design and aesthetic decisions have been made in every aspect of the market: from the venue, the layout, the designers, the graphics and the colour schemes. Hands on workshops with local Glasgow based designers will be running throughout the day to engage our visitors (recommended to book tickets early!) and we have the very best of Glasgow's food and drink to satisfy the bellies and thirsts of those who step through our door.
We hope to cement Scotland's design community and followers together; to celebrate the incredible talent we have in a place where our visitors can shop beautiful products face to face with the designer, in incredible and influential surroundings.
Spot is a collaboration between Anna Hepburn (@annahepburnjewellery @annahepburnstudio) & Sarah Henderson (@squidinkco), two Glasgow based designers who were craving for a fresh take on a makers market, that truly celebrates and showcases the phenomenal talent in Scotland.

The market took place on June 1st 2019 and they had a great turn out of 529 people. It was such a lovely day and I took a load of photographs. Below are some of the highlights from the day.
