Fly fishing on the Bow River // Spring 2017

I tagged along with my friend Sam one spring evening to a spot along the Bow River in our hometown Calgary. Sam is a fly-fishing enthusiast, is very passionate about preservation and has a wealth of knowledge about all the species in the area so it was quite fun being there with him. This was the first time I had ever put on waders and I must admit it was a pretty weird sensation being immersed in water yet staying dry. I carefully followed Sam into the water with my camera in hand doing my best not to be swept away by the river.
