Glasgow to the Isle of Skye // Ilford Film

The Isle of Skye is a rugged, wild and beautiful island on the West Coast of Scotland. I’ve always been curious to visit as I’m a big history nerd and the Isle of Skye is where my Mom’s side of the family came from before moving to Canada. On my second visit to Scotland my parents and I drove from Glasgow through the highlands and across to the Isle of Skye. These images are mainly shot from the backseat of the car during that journey. I remember being in absolute awe as we weaved our way through the hills and mountains. After this trip I knew that one day I would call Scotland home as I was so taken with the scenery and the people.
