Car Camping in Jasper National Park // 2017
I’ve always fancied the idea of turning my car into a mini camper and going around my home province of Alberta and I am so happy to have fulfilled that fantasy shortly before making the big move over to the UK back in 2017. I bought a large piece of foam from Canadian Tire along with several large plastic boxes to help the foam lay flat (also a handy storage solution). I drove all over the province that summer but my short trip up to Jasper National Park was definitely a highlight, not to mention I had my best friend with me as well.
We stayed in Jasper at Whistler’s campground for two nights so it was rather short but we managed to visit Whistler’s peak during sunset which was very magical, popped over to Athabasca Glacier, and Maligne Lake. Going through these photos again after a few years makes me so thankful to have grown up near the Canadian Rockies and just how absolutely stunning this part of the world is.
